Tower Clocks the remote origins of Giuliano Mazzuoli




			We already know the more recent origins of Giuliano Mazzuoli but his desire to enter the world of time pieces makes you think that his DNA contributed to this. In the Mazzuoli family there was a certain Lisandro that was working in an old craftsman factory that produced tower clocks.
			In Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, the town where Giuliano was born and still lives in the hills of Chianti, there is an attic of an ancient building that to this day has the designs of tower clock movements inscribed in the walls.
			It was Vincenzo Pistelli, a well-known craftsman that was producing the movments for tower clocks in the 1700s. The Pistelli family continued this activity for generations and before the family became extinct Lisandro Mazzuoli learned the art of this trade until he continued on repairing and modifying the tired movements. Giuliano asked his sons that if one day the building with the movements should ever become for sale, they are to aquire it and transfer the company headquarters there.
