“I feel like I got inside a wonderful fairytale”.
A Camper Hole in the Wall Camps The Healing
Power of Fun and Laughter. |
Children with serious illnesses are often
forced to grow up too fast. At Hole in the Wall Camps,
children whose lives have been disrupted by a serious
illness can try new activities they never dreamed possible
and laugh the day away with new friends.
All of this happens in a fun, physically safe environment
that offers full on-site medical care. Hole in the Wall
Camps are the world’s largest family of Camps for
children with serious illnesses and life-threatening conditions.

They
are the dream of Paul Newman and are supported by thousands
of volunteers and generous donors every year. To date,
more than 114,000 children from throughout the United
States and 32 countries have attended the 11 Camps free
of charge. Hole in the Wall Camps are magical places where
an atmosphere of fun and adventure transports children
far from the realities of hospital beds and doctors’
offices. The camp activities provide children of all abilities
with experiences that are fun, empowering, and life-changing.
Hole in the Wall Camps
For children with serious illnesses, laughter is the best
medicine.
